Over the past 9 years, with more than 21,000 participants, the i-Share cohort has become the benchmark for research on student health. A large amount of data in several fields has been collected thanks to the commitment of the students: researchers can concentrate to the scientific exploitation of this large database. The annual follow-up of all participants in the SHIVA cohort will therefore be stopped.
The SHIVA-Share ancillary study, promoted by the Bordeaux University Hospital and set up several months ago, continues to include i-Share participants who have participated in the bio-Share biobank, for the #research on small cerebral artery disease.
