SHIVA members were honoured by a visit of Mr. Thierry Lhermitte, referral of the Medical Research Foundation (FRM) at the Bordeaux Population Health centre. He met Stéphanie Debette, winner of the FRM 2023 Marie-Paul Burrus Prize, to discuss challenges of the research on cerebral small vessel disease. Mr Lhermitte, who is passionate about science and research, continued his visit to the centre’s IT platform, which houses the intensive computing servers, and to the Bordeaux Bioimaging Institute to discuss with the neuroimaging research teams.
