In this new SHIVA publication, the Neurofunctional Imaging Group propose a novel 3D deep learning-based model, SHIVA-WMH detector, with much-improved detection of small White Matter Hyperintensities across subjects with a wide range of White Matter Hyperintensities burden compared to existing methods.
Additionally, they demonstrate the relevance of small White Matter Hyperintensities found in young adults from MRi-Share study by demonstrating the signs of compromised microstructural properties in White Matter Hyperintensities.
