Prof. Stephanie Debette presented advances on cSVD multiomics analyses<\/strong> within the SHIVA framework presented at the International Stroke Genetics Consortium<\/a> workshop in Melbourne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workpackage 2 aims to discover novel molecular biomarkers for MRI markers of cSVD (MRI-cSVD), and derive a cSVD biomarker signature using cutting-edge multiomics approaches, comprising genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics. This will (i) generate novel easy-access plasma biomarkers for cSVD detection and prognostic stratification for better prevention of cSVD progression and complications, and (ii) reveal novel biological pathways of \u00a0cSVD to be leveraged for the identification of putative novel drug targets (WP3).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
