Within a team of several investigators from the Memory Center<\/span><\/span> and of the Cardiology Department<\/span> of the Bordeaux University Hospital, the recruited doctor will be in charge of the follow-up of two internally promoted patient cohorts:
– SHIVA-Share study <\/strong>: inclusion of 400 young adults (2-year inclusion period, 1-year follow-up). The aim of this study is to explore the links between blood pressure profile, brain imaging and retinal microvascularisation in young adults in order to better understand and detect early any alterations in the structure and function of small cerebral arteries. -SHIVA study :<\/strong>inclusion of 200 elderly hypertensive patients followed in the cardiology department, in the Memory Centre and in the geriatrics department at the Bordeaux University Hospital (2-year inclusion period, 3-year follow-up). The objective of this study is to better characterise cSVD using brain and retinal imaging and new innovative biomarkers generated from high-throughput technologies (genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics and metabolomics), and also to facilitate diagnosis and to achieve better prevention of its complications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Main Activities :<\/strong>To manage patients seen during the SHIVA and SHIVA-Share protocol visits :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Interviewing and clinical examination of patients<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Information and consent gathering<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Inclusion and follow-up of patients<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Contribution to the collection and follow-up of pharmacovigilance data<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Intervention throughout the study and interaction with all clinical and research actors<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Participate in the constitution and management of an active file of hypertensive patients with cSVD with a pre-screening activity, in close collaboration with the project team and the principal investigators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Participation in the development of recommendations for the personalised management of patients with small cerebral artery disease in an \u00ab\u00a0occult\u00a0\u00bb form (without stroke or dementia) in order to optimise the prevention of complications (notably stroke, cognitive decline, dementia). This will involve setting up a medical consultation and management circuit specifically dedicated to this pathology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– To evaluate the impact on patients of this specific medical follow-up for cSVD (in this context, participation in the meetings of the multidisciplinary ethics advisory board of the SHIVA study).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
